We check the injury and how recent it is.
Targeted cold treatment that calms acute and sub-acute injuries. It cuts pain and inflammation fast, so your recovery plan never has to hit pause.
What It Is
You're the one who tweaks something and keeps moving anyway. Which is exactly why it's still swollen two days later.
Cryotherapy uses focused cold application to lower tissue temperature at the injury site. That narrows blood vessels and slows the inflammatory response that drives pain and swelling in the first hours and days after an injury.
We use it strategically: right after an acute flare or a new injury, or after a session that pushed a joint through a harder range than usual, to keep swelling from building up overnight.
It's just as useful weeks into a plan, when a joint or muscle group gets aggravated during rehab and needs to calm down before the next session.
Targeted, timed, and monitored
What It Helps
If something flared up in the last day or two, or after a hard session, cryotherapy is often the first step.

Questions, Answered
An ice pack at home is a good start, but it's applied inconsistently and often for the wrong amount of time. In the clinic, we apply focused cold for a set, monitored duration based on your specific injury, so the treatment is more precise and repeatable.
Most often right after an acute injury or flare, or after a session that pushed a joint or muscle harder than usual. Cooling things down early helps manage swelling and pain before it has a chance to build.
