Daniel Mills
PT, DPT
Clinical Director
I grew up in Manassas, VA, and come from a family of therapists. I have been involved in the physical therapy field since 2010. I attended James Madison University for my B.S. in Kinesiology and continued my education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where I received my doctorate in Physical Therapy. I grew up leading an active lifestyle involving board sports, competitive swimming, baseball, mixed martial arts, and CrossFit.
“If you look for the light, you can often find it. But if you look for the dark, that is all you will ever see.”
I am dry needling certified and specialize in the foot, ankle, and shoulder. I have received additional training and certifications in running/gait analysis, upper extremity disorders, and foot/ankle diagnosis and treatment, but I have an extensive background in treating all orthopedic conditions. I love treating all conditions, but I am particularly passionate about lower extremity disorders because I enjoy the process of returning to walking and running.
The environment here at Mid-County Physical Therapy is collaborative, uplifting, and so encouraging between coworkers and patients alike. I appreciate the relationships I build with patients as we work together toward their goals. It’s fulfilling to be part of their journey to recovery and contribute to their overall well-being.
