We screen how your hips, knees, and ankles move under load.
A cause-first movement screen for the hips, knees, and ankles, built for athletes who want to stay off our schedule, not fill it.
What It Is
Most injuries we see in athletes don’t come out of nowhere. A hip that doesn’t stabilize well, a knee that tracks slightly off, an ankle that never fully regained its balance after an old sprain: these show up on a movement screen long before they show up as pain.
Injury prevention training starts with that screen. We take a cause-first look at how the hips, knees, and ankles move, load, and balance under the same demands your sport puts on them, then build a targeted program around what we find.
We run this as community-based instruction for teams, programs, and individual athletes around Woodbridge, not just a one-time appointment. The goal is fewer trips back to the sideline, not more visits to us.
Always optional, never sprung on you
What It Helps
You’ve seen it happen to a teammate: one wrong landing and a season is gone. That’s exactly why you’re reading this instead of waiting for it to happen to you. If you’ve been injured before, or you compete in a sport that puts real stress on the hips, knees, or ankles, a screen is worth the hour.

Questions, Answered
Youth athletes, weekend competitors, and adults getting back into a sport after time off. It’s especially useful if you’ve had a past hip, knee, or ankle injury and want to know whether that joint is actually ready for the demands you’re putting on it again, not just guessing.
A series of movement tests for the hips, knees, and ankles, done under loads similar to what your sport demands: jumping, landing, cutting, single-leg balance. We’re looking for the specific patterns research links to higher re-injury risk, then building a training plan around what we find.
Because you’re not being treated for an existing diagnosis, prevention screens are usually self-pay rather than billed to insurance. We’ll walk you through the cost upfront so there’s no surprise. Questions before then? Call us at (703) 763-3922.
