Lucy

Physical Therapy Aide

Lucy grew up in Manassas, Virginia, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Virginia Tech. GO HOKIES!! During college and after graduation, she found herself drawn to healthcare, especially physical therapy, because she loves being part of a process that helps people feel better, move better, and reach their goals. She will be attending physical therapy school to obtain her DPT in the fall of 2026.

Lucy has interned in multiple physical therapy settings and gained hands-on experience supporting therapists and patients. Since then, she has worked at Mid-County Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapy Technician, helping guide patients through exercises, assisting with therapeutic equipment, and maintaining a safe, organized environment.

If she can’t be found at work, she’s probably boot scootin’ boogie-ing at line dancing! She loves staying active and spending time outdoors. She also enjoys painting and doing crafts, as well as playing bingo, card games, and dominoes.

What do you like most about working at Mid-County Physical Therapy?

It feels great for Lucy to be part of a team that’s supportive and truly cares about the patients and each other. Working here has also given her a lot of insight into physical therapy, which she’s really excited about as she looks forward to going to PT school. It’s inspiring for her to be in an environment that’s helping her grow both personally and professionally.
